Elza Ritter brings her international accomplishments as pianist, piano and voice teacher, judge, and accompanist to the development of aspiring music talent. Her professional training has focused on music pedagogy and on enabling students from age four to adult, in both individual and group settings, to reach their highest levels of technical and musical proficiency. Her experience embraces a wide range of styles from classical to jazz, from ballet to the theatrical stage.

Russian Music Academy of America (RMAOA)

Ms. Ritter founded the Russian Music Academy of America (RMAOA) in 1999. Since then, RMAOA has been providing piano and music instruction and coaching for beginner through university level students.

Outstanding students took honors and 1st place awards at the Moscow Musica Classica Piano Competition in 2007 and at  several 2013-2016 Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association (NVMTA) and Virginia Music Teachers Association (VMTA) piano competitions.

In addition, one of Ms. Ritter’s students was accepted to and has graduated from the five-year piano performance and pedagogy program at the prestigious Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, Moscow.


In addition to teaching, managing the Russian Music Academy of America, and her work as a vocal coach and accompanist, Ms. Ritter has contributed her talents to the following institutional employers:
